Aravind Ashoka Reddy is an experienced Software Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. With a strong background in Java, C, Python, C#, AWS services, API development, Shell scripting, Web Services, Distributed Computing, Spring framework, MVC, SQL, Bootstrap, and jQuery, he has worked as a developer and production support engineer, which has helped him see software products in a broader spectrum. Aravind is currently a Software Developer at Fuel Transport Inc., where he has installed and maintained GitLab self-managed instances, GitLab CI/CD, and implemented SSO with ADFS. He has also developed Microservices, REST APIs using Spring-boot and Java, and tested and deployed web applications as Docker containers to Linux servers using GitLab CI/CD. Aravind has designed the software development environment for the entire company, set up the IAM - Keycloak (docker instance) for SSO to internal and external web applications, and procured enormous knowledge on Transportation, Logistics, and supply chain domain while working on the company's DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION project (multi-million-dollar project). Additionally, Aravind has developed integration layers for several third-party API services and is a beginner in Angular 9 and Apache Kafka. Before joining Fuel Transport Inc., Aravind worked as a Software Engineer at Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions, where he developed microservices in Java and increased the performance of php and shell scripts by three-fold. He also developed unit tests for existing php and Java applications and developed an LG air conditioner simulator in C#, which communicates with thermostat firmware written in C language. Aravind has also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Metso Outotec, where he integrated applications with Postgres on Microsoft Azure and used Python for the backend of the application, which is built on Django and ReactJS. Aravind holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from S J B Institute of Technology, Bangalore, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science at Concordia University, which he is expected to complete in December 2020.
